That's right this version is improved. Even the partition manager is much nicer, that shows a graphical representation of the disk as it is now and will be after repartitioning.

Sure, download it! Because Ubuntu 8.10 offers even a streamlined upgrade process to get from one version to the next. In case you have the old one. Isn't it great!

Hello, everyone! :)

I think that this new version, Ubuntu 8.10 is really worth trying. As this software offers a lot of improvements for instance, a pc user can create a "guest" account to permit more than one person to customize a desktop on the same PC.

I think the best way to obtain Ubuntu is to download it. Then burn your own CDs or DVDs.
