Has your computer been infected with win32 Heur? Have you been cursing your machine and wondering, What in the world is win32 Heur virus!?! Once you have discovered that your computer has been corrupted by the infection, you should be well aware that it is a killer. The aim of win32 Heur is to spread the wave of malicious activity via your computer. The win32 Heur Virus is actually a Trojan with the intention of stealing your money. It displays false security warnings persuading you to purchase their rogue antivirus. Unfortunately, rogue antivirus programs do not help your computer, on the contrary they damage your system even further.
Apart from that, the win32 heur Trojan will irritate you with regular pop-up ads that redirect you to malicious websites. Malicious websites have the tendency to secretly inject infections into your computer while you are visiting them. The main aim of the trojan is to squeeze money from you and disclose your information to the hacker for criminal actions. The hacker can also use your computer to hack other people as well.
These type of trojan infections are known as malicious programs that try to get onto your computer by tricking you into believing that they are useful. There are a few methods with which your computer can get infected, including:
- Online P2P networks; Whenever you download files from programs such as Bearshare and
Limewire. Also, don't use any exe files and video codec installers. - Installation of any free or cheap programs and applications; It frequently appears that these programs are free but are not necessarily good as they tend to include spyware, adware, and viruses. For this reason, after installing new software off the net do a prompt scan of your system.
- A visit to a website which seeds viruses or browser hijackers that infect your computer.
